Faded listings and \"Not on HeyTruk yet\"

A faded merchant is listed from public information or a fan's tag and has not joined HeyTruk. You can still see where they usually are, and you can invite them.

Some merchants on the map look dimmer and their page reads Not on HeyTruk yet. They are real: HeyTruk listed them from public information or from a fan's tag so the map is never empty. The merchant has not claimed the listing, so nothing on it is theirs yet.

What a faded listing can and cannot do

  • It shows their usual spot and, where known, hours and a menu board a fan photographed.
  • It cannot go Live, post Drops or offers, run a punch card, or take orders. Nothing on it is confirmed by the merchant.
  • You can chase it and follow it; alerts start when they join and pull up.

Invite them

Tap Invite on their page, or Find a merchant on the Friends tab. Add their Instagram if you know it; it helps HeyTruk reach them. When they claim the listing, the page fills in with their menu, specials and offers, and you were the one who brought them.

Claimed and verified

A merchant who claims their listing gets a full-strength page. Verified business on HeyTruk appears once HeyTruk has confirmed it is them.

Something is wrong with a faded listing

Closed, moved, or not a food merchant: tap Suggest an edit. See Report a listing.
