Using the map
Every merchant and event as a pin. The pin key explains Live, Open now, Open, Scheduled, Last seen and Usual spot. Filter by merchants or events, borough and neighborhood, and plan ahead by day.
Tap Map in the bottom bar.
The pins
Tap What the pins mean for the key:
- Live: the merchant tapped Pull Up and is serving right now.
- Open now: inside their posted hours, confirmed by their schedule.
- Open: open by their schedule.
- Scheduled: a posted stop later today or this week.
- Last seen: their last known stop.
- Usual spot: where they stop most often, from the last 30 days.
Open means live or inside posted hours. Tap a pin for the card; tap the card for the merchant's page.
Filters
- Merchants and events, Merchants only, Events only, or Events I follow. In events-only mode, tap an event to see its lineup.
- Borough and Neighborhood.
- Rank Score minimum.
- Search cuisines narrows to one cuisine.
Search this area re-runs the search where you have panned to. Show the truck cards opens a swipeable row of cards for what is on screen.
Plan ahead
The day control shows who is out later today or later this week. Pins switch to that day's schedule.
Tag a Truk
Standing in front of a merchant who is not on the map? Tag a Truk adds them. See TrukTag.
When the map is empty
"No trucks are open right now" means nothing is live or inside hours where you are looking. Switch to a later day, widen the area, or follow a cuisine so the app alerts you when one pulls up.
