Troubleshooting
A truck shows the wrong location or hours
Locations come from the merchant first, then their posted schedule, then fans' tags. Report a wrong one from the merchant's page and tell us what you saw.
Where a pin comes from
In order of trust:
- The merchant, live. A Live pin is where they tapped Pull Up, right now.
- The merchant's posted schedule. Scheduled and Open pins are where they said they would be.
- Their pattern. Usual spot is where they have stopped most in the last 30 days; Last seen is their last known stop.
- A fan's tag, for merchants not yet on HeyTruk.
A pin can be wrong when a merchant moved without updating, a schedule changed, or a tag was placed from across the street.
Hours
Hours come from the merchant's schedule, in your time zone. A merchant that closes early can tell the app from their side; otherwise the hours stay until they update them.
Report it
On the merchant's page, tap Suggest an edit (or Report on the web page) and say what you saw: the real spot, the real hours, or that they were not there. Reports from people standing there carry the most weight, and the merchant is asked to confirm. Repeated reports move the pin.
Not the merchant's fault
Street fairs, weather and permits move trucks on short notice. Follow the merchant to hear when they pull up, and the pin will be right when it matters.
