Promotions and offers from trucks
The kinds of offer a merchant can run, where each one shows in the app, and how they differ from Drops.
Every offer in HeyTruk is created by a merchant and honored by that merchant at the window. These are the kinds you will see.
Deals on a merchant's page
A merchant can post a deal with dates: % off, $ off, Buy 1, get 1, a Free item, or a plain Deal described in words. It shows on their page with a Claim button. Claiming puts it under Me → My offers; you redeem it at the window while they are live. A merchant running a HeyTruk promotion that day can also reach you with one alert about it.
Tuesday Shuffle
Every Tuesday, Home shows the Shuffle: cards from merchants near you. Tap a card to reveal it; revealing claims it, and you cannot switch. Show it at the window. The Shuffle comes back next Tuesday with new merchants. If no merchant near you joined that week, the Shuffle says so.
Punch cards
Merchants who run a stamps program give you one stamp per verified visit. At the number of stamps the merchant set, a reward is ready: a free item or whatever they chose. See Using a punch card or stamp card.
Weekly Draw prizes
Prizes in the Weekly Draw are sponsored by merchants. A prize you win appears under My offers as Your reward, with the sponsoring merchant and how to collect it. See Weekly draw.
Passport
A Passport is a route of merchants. Visiting every one earns points and Weekly Draw entries; the merchants on the route are the ones who joined it.
How offers differ from Drops
A Drop is an item out on a day; nothing is claimed and nothing is discounted. An offer is a deal you claim and redeem. Both come from the merchant, who sets the terms and fulfills them.
