These are the answers the app gives under Rewards → How Rewards work.
How do I earn points? Every verified purchase at a merchant on HeyTruk stamps that merchant's punch card and pays points: 100, plus 25 at Foodie or 50 at Legend. A Bite Note with a photo pays 25, once per merchant per day. Ranking a merchant pays 15 the first time, when you visited in the last 30 days or added a photo. Following, chasing or sharing a merchant pays 5 each, once per merchant. Inviting a friend pays 500 when they make their first verified purchase.
What are weekly challenges? Bonus goals under Earn that reset Monday. Finish one and tap Claim to bank the points.
What do badges pay? Each level of a badge pays points when you claim it.
How is my level set? By the points you earn in a calendar year. Reach a level and you keep it for the rest of that year and all of the next. Verified visits count in full toward your level; FoodRUN, Bite Notes, ranks and badges count 25%.
Does spending points lower my level? No. Spending points in Truk Shop never lowers your level.
What can I spend points on? Food rewards, merch, game skins and gift cards in Truk Shop. Draw entries cannot be bought. See Truk Shop.
