Redeeming a food reward at the window

A food reward, like a free drink, is redeemed at a partner truck's window. The merchant hands it over and confirms it on your phone.

Redeem it

1. Redeem the reward in Truk Shop. It moves to Redemption and reads "Any partner truck, this week. The truck taps to confirm."
2. At a partner truck, open the reward and tap Show this at the window.
3. Hand your phone to the merchant. Their side reads Staff: tap to redeem; they tap it and the reward is done.

One per customer, and the merchant taps the button, not you.

Which trucks

Partner trucks are the merchants who joined the rewards program; the shop page lists them under Partner trucks. A truck that is not a partner cannot honor a Truk Shop reward.

It expires

A food reward is good for the week it is redeemed. After that it is gone and the points are not returned, so redeem one when you are about to visit.

If the merchant cannot honor it

Ask first; the usual reasons are an expired reward or a truck that is not a partner. If a partner truck refuses a valid reward, contact support with the truck's name, the reward and the time. HeyTruk follows up with partners who refuse repeatedly.
